Costs for Attending
Tuition
For students joining us for a full week of tuition, workshops, and concerts (arrival on June 26 – departure on July 2), the costs will be:
Full-time tuition | $595 |

Please read our Class Descriptions and Schedules for full info on the classes that will be offered during the week. For non-students, afternoon workshops, jam sessions and concert tickets will be available to purchase individually at a later date.
Meals

Meals will be provided in the Blair Dining Hall, close to all on-campus accommodation and teaching rooms. The College sources organic locally-farmed foods, and all meat and seafood is humanely raised and sustainably sourced. Vegetarian and vegan options abound, and cookies and treats are baked fresh each morning. COA uses 100% compostable disposables wherever possible, and we encourage you to bring your own reusable beverage containers, etc.
Update: At this point in registration, we are no longer able to offer meals or meal plans to students who are not staying on campus at COA, due to the number of meal plans we are able to procure from COA for 2023.

Students can choose to stay in campus dormitories, or in any of the many hotels or campgrounds nearby.
The College is a zero-emissions campus, with solar power, and composting toilets. Most of the dorms have a shared bathroom. Staying on campus is a sure way to catch all of the jam sessions that carry on into the wee hours!
There are a variety of off-site accommodation options:
– Bar Harbor Motel (5 min walk from COA) is providing a discounted rate of $219/night for AFTMD participants. Just mention “Acadia Trad Festival” when booking by calling this number.
– Acadia Inn (5 min walk from COA) has rates starting at $239/night during our festival dates.
– Bluenose Inn (6 min walk from COA) has various rates, suites and apartments to offer starting at $340/night.
There are several other hotels less than a 10 minute walk from COA’s campus, and a wealth of other local options you might wish to explore yourself! Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce has a comprehensive list of accommodations that you can find here.
