Danielle Enblom has spent over three decades dancing and fiddling in community, on dance floors, and on stages across Ireland and North America. She grew up immersed in the Irish community in the Twin Cities, spent her early adulthood learning sean-nós and old-style step dance from dancers in Ireland and the US, and later deepened her connection to her own Métis and French Canadian roots.

Danielle holds a Diploma in Traditional Irish Music from University College Cork and an MA in Ethnochoreology from Munster Technological University, and has toured internationally including with Sole Mates Dance alongside Kieran Jordan. In 2023, Danielle danced in the award-winning Métis opera Li Keur: Riel’s Heart of the North. Described as dancing with “wild, refined, and joyful” spirit by Deirdre Cronin of Irish Music Magazine, Danielle brings that same energy to her teaching.

Her approach to tradition has been shaped by formal training and musical fellowship alike, alongside elders, knowledge keepers, dance masters, and scholars. She gives tradition, musicality, and rhythm equal weight when she dances, moving fluidly between traditions while centering cultural integrity. Danielle currently lives in British Columbia and tours with two of Canada’s leading traditional musicians: Franco-Ontarian fiddler Pierre Schryer and guitarist Adam Dobres.
